The Recombinant SGSH Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C310410) against SGSH. This gene encodes the enzyme sulfamidase; one of several enzymes involved in the lysosomal degradation of heparan sulfate. Mutations in this gene are associated with the lysosomal storage disease mucopolysaccaridosis IIIA, also known as Sanfilippo syndrome A, which results from impaired degradation of heparan sulfate. Transcripts of varying sizes have been reported but their biological validity has not been determined. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ICC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HEK-293. The target is localized to the lysosome.
