The Recombinant SP1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C211587) against SP1. Specificity protein 1 (SP1) is a ubiquitously expressed transcription factor belonging to the family of C2H2-type zinc finger containing DNA-binding proteins. SP1 binds GC-rich motifs with high affinity and regulates the expression of numerous mammalian genes. It interacts with many other transcription factors, such as c-Myc, EGR1, and Stat1, and with basal transcription machinery components. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF and FC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of K562, 3T3, HeLa, IHC analysis of Human colon cancer and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
