The Recombinant Stathmin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111288) against Stathmin. Involved in the regulation of the microtubule (MT) filament system by destabilizing microtubules. Prevents assembly and promotes disassembly of microtubules. Phosphorylation at Ser-16 may be required for axon formation during neurogenesis. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat, Neuro-2a, Mouse brain, IHC analysis of Human lung squamous carcinoma, Human tonsil, Mouse cerebrum, Rat cerebrum, IF analysis of Jurkat and IP analysis of Jurkat cells extracts. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton.
