The Recombinant TWIST1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C170971) against TWIST1. Basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factors have been implicated in cell lineage determination and differentiation. The protein encoded by this gene is a bHLH transcription factor and shares similarity with another bHLH transcription factor, Dermo1. The strongest expression of this mRNA is in placental tissue; in adults, mesodermally derived tissues express this mRNA preferentially. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Rat spleen. The target is localized to the nucleus.
