Description
RNase, RNA and DNA decontamination spray
RNase, RNA and DNA Remover is a ready-to-use surface decontamination spray that rapidly destroys RNases and removes residual RNA and DNA from benches, pipettes and labware. It helps prevent sample degradation and amplicon carryover in sensitive RNA and PCR workflows.
This non-toxic spray creates an RNase-free, RNA- and DNA-free working environment. Use it on wooden or plastic benchtops and base surfaces, plastic instrument surfaces, centrifuge tubes, pipette tips, glass test tubes and rubber or latex gloves. Spray, leave for about 5 min and wipe clean; treated tubes can be used once dry (about 5–10 min). Do not use it on metal surfaces. For research use only.

Storage
Store at 15 ~ 25°C.
- Benchtops
- Spray directly onto the bench, covering each area once.
- After about 5 min, wipe with clean paper towels or alcohol wipes.
- Gloves
- Spray onto disposable latex gloves, then wipe with water or alcohol wipes.
- Tubes, tips and glassware
- Spray to remove nuclease contamination from centrifuge tubes, pipette tips, glass test tubes and similar items.
- Allow to dry (about 5–10 min), then add the nucleic acid template directly.
- Clean benches and biosafety cabinets
- Spray the surface, then wipe with 75% alcohol.
- Place treated centrifuge tubes or tip boxes in the cabinet and sterilise with UV.
Q1: Which surfaces can I treat?
- Wooden or plastic benchtops and base surfaces, plastic instrument surfaces, centrifuge tubes, pipette tips, glass test tubes and rubber gloves. Do not spray onto metal surfaces.
Q2: How long should I wait before using treated tubes?
- Let them dry completely, which takes about 5–10 min. Adding nucleic acid before the remover has dried will degrade it.
Q3: Is the product safe to handle?
- It is non-toxic but slightly irritating. Wear a mask when spraying, avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes, and rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs.
