The TAAR1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16166) is specifically designed for research involving the TAAR1 protein, a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a key role in neurotransmission and neuromodulation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the TAAR1 protein, researchers can effectively detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making it an ideal tool for studies in neuroscience and drug discovery.TAAR1 is known for its involvement in the modulation of monoaminergic neurotransmission, making it a promising target for research into psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, and neurological conditions.
Understanding the function of TAAR1 is crucial for developing novel therapies that target this receptor and its associated signaling pathways. With its ability to specifically detect TAAR1, this polyclonal antibody is a valuable asset for researchers seeking to unravel the complexities of neurotransmitter regulation and identify new treatment strategies.
Product Name:
TAAR1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB16166
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 100-200 of human TAAR1 (NP_612200.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a G-protein coupled receptor activated by trace amines. The encoded protein responds little or not at all to dopamine, serotonin, epinephrine, or histamine, but responds well to beta-phenylethylamine, p-tyramine, octopamine, and tryptamine. While primarily functioning in neurologic systems, there is evidence that this gene is involved in blood cell and immunologic functions as well. This gene is thought to be intronless.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
