Teropavimab Antibody is a research-grade biosimilar monoclonal antibody targeting gp120/Glycoprotein 120. It is a humanized IgG1-kappa antibody. Reactivity: Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). Supplied as a liquid in 30 mM Histidine, pH5.8, 10% sucrose, 0.02% Tween80. Applications: ELISA, flow cytometry, functional assays and in vivo research. Endotoxin: < 10 EU/mg. Purity: >95% purity as determined by SDS-PAGE. For research use only.
Envelope glycoprotein gp160 (gp120/Glycoprotein 120) is a ~96 kDa protein. Envelope glycoprotein gp160: Oligomerizes in the host endoplasmic reticulum into predominantly trimers. In a second time, gp160 transits in the host Golgi, where glycosylation is completed. The precursor is then proteolytically cleaved in the trans-Golgi and thereby activated by cellular furin or furin-like proteases to produce gp120 and gp41.
