The CGB7 Antibody (CAB8522) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits strong reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.CGB7 is a cell surface molecule involved in immune modulation, specifically in inhibiting immune responses. Its role in regulating immune homeostasis makes it a promising target for studies in immunology and cancer research. By binding to the CGB7 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, allowing researchers to further explore the mechanisms underlying immune function and disease pathology.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene is a member of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family and encodes the beta 7 subunit of chorionic gonadotropin (CG). Glycoprotein hormones are heterodimers consisting of a common alpha subunit and an unique beta subunit which confers biological specificity. CG is produced by the trophoblastic cells of the placenta and stimulates the ovaries to synthesize the steroids that are essential for the maintenance of pregnancy. The beta subunit of CG is encoded by 6 genes which are arranged in tandem and inverted pairs on chromosome 19q13.3 and contiguous with the luteinizing hormone beta subunit gene.
