Description
dUTP solution for PCR
dUTP (100 mM) is a high-purity single-nucleotide solution for incorporation into amplicons, enabling carryover-contamination control with uracil-DNA glycosylase (UDG/UNG) systems. It is also suited to labelling applications.
Purity is >99% by HPLC, and the solution is free from PCR, qPCR and reverse transcription inhibitors. Supplied as a sodium salt solution (pH 7.0–9.0), it can be combined with other individual dNTPs at whatever concentrations your reaction requires. It is suitable for PCR, real-time PCR, RT-PCR, cDNA or general DNA synthesis, primer extension, DNA sequencing, DNA labelling and other routine molecular biology reactions. For research use only.

Storage
Store at -30 ~ -15°C.
- Combine dNTPs at the concentrations your amplification requires, or prepare them separately.
- For a standard 50 μl PCR, the recommended amount is 0.1 μl.
- For a standard 20 μl reverse transcription reaction, the recommended amount is 0.1 μl.
Q1: How much dUTP should I use in PCR?
- Use dUTP at 1–3 times the concentration of dTTP. A slight increase in MgCl2 concentration can improve amplification. For a standard 50 μl PCR, the recommended amount is 0.1 μl.
Q2: What is the purity and formulation?
- Purity is >99% by HPLC. The product is a 100 mM sodium salt solution, pH 7.0–9.0, free from PCR, qPCR and RT inhibitors.
