HAdV-41 E1B-19K Recombinant Protein (N-His)
HAdV-41 E1B-19K Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Gly134, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.73 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. E1B protein, small T-antigen (E1B-19K) is a ~19 kDa protein. Putative adenovirus Bcl-2 homolog that inhibits apoptosis induced by TNF or FAS pathways, as well as p53-mediated apoptosis. Without E1B 19K function, virus production is compromised because of premature death of host cell. Interacts with Bax protein in cell lysates.
