Human ADORA2A / Adenosine Receptor A2a protein ELISA Kit

The guanine nucleotide-binding protein (G protein)-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily is divided into classes and subtypes, and ADORA2A belongs to one of them. ADORA2A, an adenosine receptor of the A2A subtype, preferentially interacts with the G(s) and G(olf) family of G proteins to increase intracellular cAMP levels by using adenosine as the preferred endogenous agonist. Cardiac rhythm and circulation, cerebral and renal blood flow, immune function, pain regulation, and sleep, are influenced by it. It's been linked to inflammatory diseases and neurodegenerative disorders as a pathophysiological condition. The upstream SPECC1L (sperm antigen with calponin homology and coiled-coil domains 1-like) and ADORA2A (adenosine A2a receptor) gene sequences have been identified as a read-through transcript, but it is thought to be non-coding. Acute Encephalopathy With Biphasic Seizures And Late Reduced Diffusion and Intermittent Asthma are two diseases linked to ADORA2A.
