Description
Human CD157/BST1 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CD157/BST1 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Lys292, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 33.84 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. ADP-ribosyl cyclase/cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase 2 (CD157/BST1) is a ~35 kDa protein. Catalyzes both the synthesis of cyclic ADP-beta-D-ribose (cADPR) from NAD(+), and its hydrolysis to ADP-D-ribose (ADPR). For research use only.
Cyclic ADPR is known to serve as an endogenous second messenger that elicits calcium release from intracellular stores, and thus regulates the mobilization of intracellular calcium (Probable). May be involved in pre-B-cell growth (Probable).
