Description
Human CGA Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CGA Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Ala25-Ser116, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 13.11 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Glycoprotein hormones alpha chain is a ~13 kDa protein. Shared alpha chain of the active heterodimeric glycoprotein hormones thyrotropin/thyroid stimulating hormone/TSH, lutropin/luteinizing hormone/LH, follitropin/follicle stimulating hormone/FSH and choriogonadotropin/CG. For research use only.
These hormones bind specific receptors on target cells that in turn activate downstream signaling pathways.
