Description
Human EGLN3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human EGLN3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Asp239, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 29.42 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Prolyl hydroxylase EGLN3 is a ~27 kDa protein. Prolyl hydroxylase that mediates hydroxylation of proline residues in target proteins, such as PKM, TELO2, ATF4, GPX4 and HIF1A. For research use only.
Target proteins are preferentially recognized via a LXXLAP motif. Cellular oxygen sensor that catalyzes, under normoxic conditions, the post-translational formation of 4-hydroxyproline in hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) alpha proteins. Hydroxylates a specific proline found in each of the oxygen-dependent degradation (ODD) domains (N-terminal, NODD, and C-terminal, CODD) of HIF1A. Also hydroxylates HIF2A.
