Description
Human LRP4 Recombinant Protein (N-GST)
Human LRP4 Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg1610-Arg1885, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 56.68 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 4 (LRP4) is a ~212 kDa protein. Mediates SOST-dependent inhibition of bone formation. For research use only.
Functions as a specific facilitator of SOST-mediated inhibition of Wnt signaling. Plays a key role in the formation and the maintenance of the neuromuscular junction (NMJ), the synapse between motor neuron and skeletal muscle. Directly binds AGRIN and recruits it to the MUSK signaling complex. Mediates the AGRIN-induced phosphorylation of MUSK, the kinase of the complex.
