Description
Human CTSA Recombinant Protein (N-GST)
Human CTSA Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp215-Met470, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 56.29 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Lysosomal protective protein (CTSA) is a ~54 kDa protein. Protective protein appears to be essential for both the activity of beta-galactosidase and neuraminidase, it associates with these enzymes and exerts a protective function necessary for their stability and activity. For research use only.
This protein is also a carboxypeptidase and can deamidate tachykinins.
