Description
Human MAST2 Recombinant Protein (N-GST)
Human MAST2 Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Phe512-Phe785, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 57.99 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Microtubule-associated serine/threonine-protein kinase 2 (MAST2) is a ~196 kDa protein. Appears to link the dystrophin/utrophin network with microtubule filaments via the syntrophins. For research use only.
Phosphorylation of DMD or UTRN may modulate their affinities for associated proteins. Functions in a multi-protein complex in spermatid maturation. Regulates lipopolysaccharide-induced IL-12 synthesis in macrophages by forming a complex with TRAF6, resulting in the inhibition of TRAF6 NF-kappa-B activation.
