Human SRP9 Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Pro2-Glu86, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 36.8 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Signal recognition particle 9 kDa protein (SRP9) is a ~10 kDa protein. SRP9 together with SRP14 and the Alu portion of the SRP RNA, constitutes the elongation arrest domain of SRP. The complex of SRP9 and SRP14 is required for SRP RNA binding.
