Rat MIP-1 alpha (Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 Alpha) CLIA Kit
The Rat MIP-1 alpha (Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 alpha) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of MIP-1 alpha levels in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers reliable and reproducible results, making it suitable for a variety of research applications.MIP-1 alpha is a key chemokine involved in inflammation and immune response, playing a crucial role in recruiting and activating immune cells. Dysregulation of MIP-1 alpha has been implicated in various inflammatory conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and potential therapeutic interventions. With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Rat MIP-1 alpha CLIA Kit provides researchers with a powerful tool for accurately quantifying MIP-1 alpha levels in rat samples, facilitating the study of immune response and inflammation in preclinical research settings.

This kit uses a sandwich chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) principle. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody is then added, followed by HRP-conjugated streptavidin to form a sandwich complex. After washing to remove unbound components, a chemiluminescent substrate is added. The HRP enzyme catalyzes a light-emitting reaction. The intensity of the emitted light is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample. The signal is measured using a luminometer, and the concentration of the analyte is calculated based on a standard curve.
