The Recombinant ARPC5/p16 ARC Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111239) against ARPC5/p16 ARC. Component of the Arp2/3 complex, a multiprotein complex that mediates actin polymerization upon stimulation by nucleation-promoting factor (NPF). The Arp2/3 complex mediates the formation of branched actin networks in the cytoplasm, providing the force for cell motility. In addition to its role in the cytoplasmic cytoskeleton, the Arp2/3 complex also promotes actin polymerization in the nucleus, thereby regulating gene transcription and repair of damaged DNA. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, C6, 3T3, Rat brain, IHC analysis of Human Cholangiocarcinoma and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the cytoskeleton, nucleus.
