The Recombinant BID Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C310048) against BID. This gene encodes a death agonist that heterodimerizes with either agonist BAX or antagonist BCL2, and thus regulate apoptosis. The encoded protein is a member of the BCL-2 family of cell death regulators. It is a mediator of mitochondrial damage induced by caspase-8 (CASP8); CASP8 cleaves this encoded protein, and the COOH-terminal part translocates to mitochondria where it triggers cytochrome c release. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, ICC/IF, FC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HCT116, Jurkat, 293T, A431, A549, HepG2, IHC analysis of Human colon cancer and IF analysis of HeLa.
