The Recombinant Caspase-8 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110950) against Caspase-8. This gene encodes a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes composed of a prodomain, a large protease subunit, and a small protease subunit. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse, Rat, Pig and Chicken samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
