Recombinant CD146 Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant CD146 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110498) against CD146. Plays a role in cell adhesion, and in cohesion of the endothelial monolayer at intercellular junctions in vascular tissue. Its expression may allow melanoma cells to interact with cellular elements of the vascular system, thereby enhancing hematogeneous tumor spread. Could be an adhesion molecule active in neural crest cells during embryonic development. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela and IHC analysis of Human tonsils. The target is localized to the membrane.
