The Recombinant Chk1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C170414) against Chk1. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. It is required for checkpoint mediated cell cycle arrest in response to DNA damage or the presence of unreplicated DNA. This protein acts to integrate signals from ATM and ATR, two cell cycle proteins involved in DNA damage responses, that also associate with chromatin in meiotic prophase I. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of K562. The target is localized to the nucleus.
