The Recombinant CHMP2B Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C321355) against CHMP2B. CHMP2B(Charged multivesicular body protein 2b) is a protein that is encoded by the CHMP2B gene in human. It forms part of one of the endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRT) - specifically ESCRT-III - which are a series of complexes involved in cell membrane remodelling. CHMP2B forms long chains that spiral around the neck of a budding vesicle. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, HEK-293 and IHC analysis of Human liver. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
