Description
Recombinant EpCAM Monoclonal Antibody
The Recombinant EpCAM Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C113341) against EpCAM. Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM, CD326) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that functions as a homophilic, epithelial-specific intercellular cell-adhesion molecule. In addition to cell adhesion, EpCAM is also involved in cellular signaling, cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. EpCAM is highly expressed on most carcinomas and therefore of potential use as a diagnostic and prognostic marker for a variety of carcinomas, and has become a therapeutic target. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of MCF7, HCT116, T47D, Hela and IF analysis of Human breast cancer, MCF-7. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
