The Recombinant Integrin α2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110914) against Integrin α2. This gene encodes the alpha subunit of a transmembrane receptor for collagens and related proteins. The encoded protein forms a heterodimer with a beta subunit and mediates the adhesion of platelets and other cell types to the extracellular matrix. Loss of the encoded protein is associated with bleeding disorder platelet-type 9. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by IHC analysis of Human cervical cancer. The target is localized to the membrane, Single-pass type I membrane protein.
