The Recombinant IRF-1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110928) against IRF-1. IRF1 encodes interferon regulatory factor 1, a member of the interferon regulatory transcription factor (IRF) family. IRF1 serves as an activator of interferons alpha and beta transcription, and in mouse it has been shown to be required for double-stranded RNA induction of these genes. IRF1 also functions as a transcription activator of genes induced by interferons alpha, beta, and gamma. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse, Rat and Fish samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Mouse brain. The target is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm, MYD88-associated IRF1 migrates into the nucleus more efficiently than non-MYD88-associated IRF1.
