The Recombinant JMJD2D Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C331639) against JMJD2D. JMJD2D (KDM4D) is a histone demethylase located in the nucleus that specifically demethylates Lysine 9 of Histone H3, thereby playing a central role in the histone code. JMJD2D (KDM4D) demethylates both di- and trimethylated histone H3 Lys 9, while it has no activity on monomethylated residues. The demethylation reaction of the Lys residue generates formaldehyde and succinate as a by product. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa,?PC-3. The target is localized to the nucleus.
