Recombinant LC3B Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant LC3B Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110659) against LC3B. The product of this gene is a subunit of neuronal microtubule-associated MAP1A and MAP1B proteins, which are involved in microtubule assembly and important for neurogenesis. Studies on the rat homolog implicate a role for this gene in autophagy, a process that involves the bulk degradation of cytoplasmic component. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of U87-MG, HeLa, 293T, HepG2, NIH/3T3, RAW 264.7, Mouse brain, C6, Rat heart, Rat brain. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
