The Recombinant MAX/MYC associated factor X Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C130169) against MAX. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper (bHLHZ) family of transcription factors. It is able to form homodimers and heterodimers with other family members, which include Mad, Mxi1 and Myc. Myc is an oncoprotein implicated in cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HepG2, HeLa, Jurkat, NIH/3T3, C6.
