Recombinant Phospho-SIRT1(Ser47) Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Phospho-SIRT1(Ser47) Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C321707) against SIRT1(Ser47). SIRT1, the mammalian ortholog of Sir2, is a nuclear protein implicated in the regulation of many cellular processes, including apoptosis, cellular senescence, endocrine signaling, glucose homeostasis, aging, and longevity. Targets of SirT1 include acetylated p53, p300, Ku70, forkhead (FoxO) transcription factors, PPARγ, and the PPARγ coactivator-1α (PGC-1α) protein. Deacetylation of p53 and FoxO transcription factors represses apoptosis and increases cell survival. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of 293+CA and IHC analysis of Human gastric adenocarcinoma. The target is localized to the cytoplasm, nucleus.
