The Recombinant Rab9A Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C271269) against Rab9A. Involved in the transport of proteins between the endosomes and the trans Golgi network. Involved in the recruitment of SGSM2 to melanosomes and is required for the proper trafficking of melanogenic enzymes TYR, TYRP1 and DCT/TYRP2 to melanosomes in melanocytes. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human and Mouse samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HepG2, C2C12, HeLa and IF analysis of NIH-3T3. The target is localized to the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicle, endoplasmic reticulum, endosome, Golgi apparatus.
