Recombinant RAGE Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant RAGE Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110229) against RAGE. The advanced glycosylation end product (AGE) receptor encoded by this gene is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell surface receptors. It is a multiligand receptor, and besides AGE, interacts with other molecules implicated in homeostasis, development, and inflammation, and certain diseases, such as diabetes and Alzheimer's disease. Many alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms, as well as non-protein-coding variants, have been described for this gene (PMID:18089847). Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A431. The target is localized to the cell membrane, Single-pass type I membrane protein, secreted, cell membrane, Single-pass type I membrane protein.
