The Recombinant Rpb1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110445) against Rpb1. This gene encodes the largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, the polymerase responsible for synthesizing messenger RNA in eukaryotes. The product of this gene contains a carboxy terminal domain composed of heptapeptide repeats that are essential for polymerase activity. These repeats contain serine and threonine residues that are phosphorylated in actively transcribing RNA polymerase. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP, ELISA, CHIP and Cut&Tag applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A549. The target is localized to the nucleus.
