The Recombinant SMAC/Diablo Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110057) against DIABLO. This gene encodes an inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP)-binding protein. The encoded mitochondrial protein enters the cytosol when cells undergo apoptosis, and allows activation of caspases by binding to inhibitor of apoptosis proteins. Overexpression of the encoded protein sensitizes tumor cells to apoptosis. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, HepG2, K-562, Jurkat, RAW 264.7, NIH/3T3, Mouse testis, Mouse spleen, PC-12, C6, Rat testis, Rat spleen, IHC analysis of Mouse testis and IF analysis of HeLa.
