The Recombinant Smac/Diablo Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111281) against Smac/Diablo. Promotes apoptosis by activating caspases in the cytochrome c/Apaf-1/caspase-9 pathway. Acts by opposing the inhibitory activity of inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAP). Inhibits the activity of BIRC6/bruce by inhibiting its binding to caspases. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, FCM and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat, MCF-7, HepG2, C2C12, C6, IHC analysis of Human lung squamous carcinoma, IF analysis of HeLa, FCM analysis of Jurkat and IP analysis of Jurkat cells extracts. The target is localized to the mitochondrion.
