The Recombinant SMARCA2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C323297) against SMARCA2. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the SWI/SNF family of proteins and is highly similar to the brahma protein of Drosophila. Members of this family have helicase and ATPase activities and are thought to regulate transcription of certain genes by altering the chromatin structure around those genes. The encoded protein is part of the large ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SNF/SWI, which is required for transcriptional activation of genes normally repressed by chromatin. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC-P applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A549, HL-60, U2OS and IHC analysis of Human lung cancer. The target is localized to the nucleus.
