The Recombinant Vinculin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110317) against Vinculin. Vinculin is a cytoskeletal protein associated with cell-cell and cell-matrix junctions, where it is thought to function as one of several interacting proteins involved in anchoring F-actin to the membrane. Defects in VCL are the cause of cardiomyopathy dilated type 1W. Dilated cardiomyopathy is a disorder characterized by ventricular dilation and impaired systolic function, resulting in congestive heart failure and arrhythmia. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Hela, A549, SH-SY5Y, HCT116, NIH-3T3, 3T3-L1, PC-12, C6, Rat heart. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
