Human ATF3 Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ser181, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 47.4 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Cyclic AMP-dependent transcription factor ATF-3 (ATF3) is a ~20 kDa protein. Represses transcription from promoters with ATF sites. It may repress transcription by stabilizing the binding of inhibitory cofactors at the promoter.
