Rat NT-proBNP (N-Terminal Pro-Brain Natriuretic Peptide) ELISA Kit
The Rat N-Terminal Pro-Brain Natriuretic Peptide (NT-proBNP) ELISA Kit serves as a valuable tool for the quantitative measurement of NT-proBNP levels in various biological samples obtained from rat models. NT-proBNP is a critical biomarker associated with cardiac function, particularly myocardial strain and heart failure. Monitoring NT-proBNP levels can provide essential insights into cardiovascular health, the progression of heart failure, and the prognosis of cardiovascular diseases. This ELISA kit enables precise and accurate detection of NT-proBNP concentrations, offering researchers a valuable means to investigate and understand cardiovascular pathophysiology and cardiovascular-related disorders. With the ability to measure NT-proBNP levels, researchers can explore diagnostic and prognostic applications related to heart conditions and cardiovascular health. Manufactured under strict quality control guidelines, the Rat NT-proBNP ELISA Kit delivers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring reliable and reproducible results. Researchers can rely on this kit to provide robust performance, accurate measurements, and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for cardiovascular research and investigations into heart-related biomarkers.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
