The Recombinant GOT2 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121161) against GOT2. Aspartate aminotransferase, mitochondrial is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the GOT2 gene. Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, HepG2, PC-12, Mouse kidney and IHC analysis of Human kidney, Mouse liver, Rat stomach. The target is localized to the membrane, mitochondrion.
PBS, 50% glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300, 0.05% protein protectant.
