The Recombinant Hemoglobin alpha Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121169) against Hemoglobin alpha. Hemoglobin is composed of heme and globin. The function of hemoglobin is to transport oxygen from the lungs to the tissues. Three main types of normal hemoglobin are found in adults: hemoglobin A, hemoglobin A2 and hemoglobin F, namely alpha, beta, gamma or delta, which determine the type of hemoglobin. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Mouse heart, Rat heart and IHC analysis of Human placenta. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
