The Recombinant Keratin 4 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111203) against Keratin 4. Keratin is a type I and type II intermediate filament protein that forms a cytoskeletal network in all epithelial cells. They are expressed in pairs in a tissue- and differentiation-specific manner. In recent years, a rare autosomal dominant genetic disease-white sponge nevus (WSN) in the oral mucosa is related to mutations in the keratin 4 (KRT4) and keratin 13 (KRT13) genes. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A431, PC-3, Mouse bladder, Rat bladder and IHC analysis of Human tonsil, Mouse skin. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
