Recombinant NGF/NGFB Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant NGF/NGFB Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C170146) against NGF. This gene is a member of the NGF-beta family and encodes a secreted protein which homodimerizes and is incorporated into a larger complex. This protein has nerve growth stimulating activity and the complex is involved in the regulation of growth and the differentiation of sympathetic and certain sensory neurons. Mutations in this gene have been associated with hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy, type 5 (HSAN5), and dysregulation of this gene's expression is associated with allergic rhinitis. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB and ICC/IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of U-87 MG, SH-SY5Y, HeLa, MCF-7, Mouse brain, Mouse skin, Rat brain, Rat thyroid and IF analysis of HeLa. The target is localized to the secreted, endosome lumen.
