The Recombinant PGD Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C173382) against PGD. 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase is the second dehydrogenase in the pentose phosphate shunt. Deficiency of this enzyme is generally asymptomatic, and the inheritance of this disorder is autosomal dominant. Hemolysis results from combined deficiency of 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase and 6-phosphogluconolactonase suggesting a synergism of the two enzymopathies. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of C6, 3T3, Hela and IF analysis of Hela cells. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
