The Recombinant Phospho-PTP1B (Ser352) Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C331698) against PTP1B (Ser352). PTP1B is a tyrosine-protein phosphatase which acts as a regulator of endoplasmic reticulum unfolded protein response and mediates dephosphorylation of EIF2AK3/PERK; inactivating the protein kinase activity of EIF2AK3/PERK. During metaphase, PTP1B is phosphorylated by protein kinase C (PKC) at S352, which is also phosphorylated in response to osmotic stress, but do not markedly change PTP1B activity. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane.
