Recombinant PTP1B Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant PTP1B Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C111420) against PTP1B. PTP1B is the founding member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family and PTPs catalyze the hydrolysis of the phosphate monoesters specifically on tyrosine residues. Members of the PTP family share a highly conserved catalytic motif, which is essential for the catalytic activity. PTPs are known to be signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC and IF applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of HeLa, Jurkat, RAW 264.7, PC-12, IHC analysis of Human breast cancer, Human colon cancer and IF analysis of Jurkat. The target is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum, membrane.
