The Recombinant PLAG1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C121565) against PLAG1. Pleiomorphic adenoma gene 1 protein (PLAG1) is a transcription factor whose activation results in up-regulation of target genes, such as IGFII, leading to uncontrolled cell proliferation. When PLAG1 overexpression in cultured cells, higher proliferation rate and transformation are observed. Other target genes such as CRLF1, CRABP2, CRIP2, PIGF are strongly induced in cells with PLAG1 induction. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB and IHC applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Human liver, Mouse liver, Rat liver and IHC analysis of Human ovarian tumor. The target is localized to the nucleus.
