Recombinant Prohibitin Monoclonal Antibody

The Recombinant Prohibitin Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C110674) against Prohibitin. This gene is evolutionarily conserved, and its product is proposed to play a role in human cellular senescence and tumor suppression. Antiproliferative activity is reported to be localized to the 3' UTR, which is proposed to function as a trans-acting regulatory RNA. Several pseudogenes of this gene have been identified. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A549 and IHC analysis of Human kidney tissue, Mouse kidney tissue. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
